澳洲女星妮可基嫚(Nicole Kidman)11日警告，在線上串流影音的時代中，好萊塢正面臨新的挑戰，需要比以往更多的電影節活動來讓影片受到關注。

在多倫多出席導演戴維斯(Garth Davis)新片「獅子」(Lion，暫譯)的全球首映會後，這位澳洲女星在記者會上說，「我不認為現在還有好萊塢。」

妮可基嫚表示，「我們全都分散在世界各地，而且在全球四處拍片，好萊塢如今已成為舊日時光，某方面來說這是令人難過的。」

幾個世代之前，位於洛杉磯的好萊塢是美國電影工業的中心。如今，美國影城整體上仍是電影工業的霸主，但國際性大片日益增加，而且拍攝地點遍及全球，不再侷限於好萊塢。

在過去10年來錄影帶商店消失殆盡、電影院努力想要找回觀眾之際，有越來越多人選擇安坐家中欣賞網路串流影片。面對這些改變，電影宣傳人員無不設法想要找到接觸觀眾的途徑。

對此，妮可基嫚認為，如今的電影節活動是至關重要的，因為要讓電影被人們注意到已經成為非常困難的事。為了那些較小型的影片、那些不是由大型影城出品或超級英雄的電影，電影業需要獲得一切的協助、集結所有力量。
